At Music Gear Direct, we have a purpose-built demonstration room that is the perfect place to compare multiple sound systems, view a lighting demo, and check the size, weight and portability of the products. All of the above gives you peace of mind on your purchase that is not possible from a website view.

We are authorised stockists of leading products such as RCF, EV, Dynacord, Alto, Yamaha, Allen & Heath, Soundcraft, Studiomaster, Logic Systems, Inspired Audio, Shure, Sennheiser, Gravity and many more. This means all our products come with full UK warranties.
What to expect when you arrive
When you arrive, you will be greeted by our friendly team who are industry experts with years of experience and product knowledge. We have parking outside the door where we will help you if needed to carry equipment to and from your car. Enjoy our friendly hospitality with seating, regular cups of teaand fully disabled access and toilets. All our staff also use our products in their work and spare time and are part of larger musical communities across the UK, so there’s always something to chat about!
Do I Have To Book A Demonstration?
The Music Gear Direct showroom is open Monday to Friday, between 9.30am and 4.00pm. If you want to book a demonstration outside of these hours, we can arrange a suitable time for you by prior appointment. Can I part exchange or sell my equipment to you?
If you have good quality equipment that you wish to part exchange, we will be more than happy to offer you a part exchange price against your new purchase. However, if you want to sell your equipment, we can sell it on your behalf for a sales commission through our sales channels. Terms & conditions apply. Please ask our friendly team for details.
Can you PAT test my equipment?
At Music Gear Direct, our engineers can PAT test your equipment by prior appointment. Call our sales number or email us and ask for a quote, as we offer multi-item discounts.
Where Is Music Gear Direct located in Nottingham?
Music Gear Direct is at the Giltbrook Trade and Industrial Park, adjacent to the IKEA complex, about 2 miles from junction 26 of the M1. We have plenty of free parking, and our showroom is fully accessible. If you’re looking for directions, here’s a map to help you get started.
